Of all of the things to do and all of the places to eat, Kam PO Kitchen was one of the highlights of my visit to SF. Authentic throw down cooking of meats, veggies, soup and more in a bare bones atmosphere. These street corner restaurants are where you find the best home style cooking. The nice lady named Ho was so kind and helpful with food suggestions and the cook who didn't have much to say just threw down and prepared some great food. This place is a must stop and eat in SF. Be sure to arrive on an empty stomach so you can indulge.

Everything was huge! The salt and pepper pork chops were amazing! The chow mein(?) wasn't my favorite. Would definitely come again.

I’ve never experienced such delicious flavors—I was genuinely shocked by how amazing everything tasted! The duck is definitely a must-try. I do wish the restaurant had a better seating area and atmosphere, but the incredible flavors alone make it worth the visit.

A true hole in the wall. Yes, you might pay a little more than expected—but that’s the tourist premium, and honestly, it’s worth every cent. The portions are generous, the flavors are bold, and the food speaks for itself. Everything we tried was delicious, but the standout was definitely the soup with Char Siu Pork which was rich, flavorful, and absolutely phenomenal. Highly recommend!
